               Butterfly Garden 

We’re planting a Butterfly Garden for all to enjoy this summer. Library groups will be visiting during regular program times to look for caterpillars, chrysalis and then butterflies! Volunteers to help with planting and maintenance would be welcome. 

Call the Children’s Department to volunteer at 860-665-8720. Children must be accompanied by an adult. 

Garden planted with donations from Home Depot and the Friends of the Library.

September is Library Card Sign-up Month

Calling all children from birth through grade 8 who live in Newington. Come to the Children’s Department anytime from September 1 to 30 to sign up for a library card and receive a free goody bag (new registrants only).
