Held in conjunction with the Lucy Robbins Welles Library Summer Reading Kickoff. If your child likes big trucks, then join the Newington Parks & Recreation Department, the Lucy Robbins Welles Library and the GFWC Newington/Wethersfield Woman’s Club for this wonderful, “hands-on” family event. Kids young and old can touch, honk horns, and climb on the vehicles we will have on display. Vehicles on display include a Back Hoe, Fire Truck, Pay Loader, Dump Truck, Deck Mower, Police Cruiser, and Medical Ambulance. No registration is necessary.
