Kickoff & Registration - Registration begins on Thursday, February 3

  • Drop in between 10:00 am - 7:00 pm to register for the adult winter reading program.  
  • You can also register online or call the library at 860-665-8700 and we will do it for you.
  • Everyone who register on kickoff day will be entered in the kickoff prize giveaway.
  • Pick up your free gift and snack.
  • Reading suggestions will be located throughout the library.
  • Due to the current COVID rates, this will be a scaled back version of previous indoor winter kickoffs.
  • Masks will be required in the library and everyone who enters the building will  be asked to sign in.

How to Participate 

Register ONLINE or at the library beginning February 3rd. Program runs from February 3 - March 11.

Read or listen to the library books of your choice at your own pace. Receive one prize ticket for each book read.

Weekly Prize Giveaways -
  Receive one prize ticket for each book read. Tickets are available ONLINE or at the Circulation and Adult Information desks. Submit your tickets ONLINE, in person a the library or call the library at 860-665-8700 and we will be happy to submit a ticket for you. Drawings are held each Friday at 12 noon. Winners will be notified to make arrangements to pick up their prize.

Grand Prize Drawing- All weekly entries will be entered into the grand prize drawing. The grand prize drawing will be held on Friday, March 11 at 12:00 noon. The winner of the grand prize will be notified that day and arrangements will be made to pick up the prize.
