Summer Reading Program For Kids 2019!

              A Universe of Stories ~ June 14 to August 31

Summer Reading 2019 has begun!

How to participate in Summer Reading 2019:
The programs begins at the Kick-Off on June 14. At that time you may begin working on the 2019 Summer Activity Log which you received at school or picked up at the library. No online registration is required.

To earn a prize:
For every 10 activities completed on the 2019 Summer Activity Log, you will earn a prize.

Complete any 10 Activities to receive Goody Bag beginning July 1.
Complete any 20 Activities to get your name in a library book beginning July 15.
Complete any 30 Activities to receive a free paperback book beginning July 29.
Complete all 33 activities to receive one additional Prize Drawing Ticket. 

To receive a prize:
Bring your 2019 Summer Activity Log to the library to collect your prizes.
Earned prizes and prize drawing tickets will be available beginning July 1, 2019

The last day to collect prizes is 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 31, 2019. No prizes can be redeemed after that date.

Activity logs were distributed at the Newington Public Schools. If your child does not attend NPS, we have copies in the Children's Department or you can print one at home by clicking here. (If printing at home, please be aware that the log is 2 pages.
