As of August 23, 2021, the Town of Newington will move to "Phase I/Red".

The following policies will be in place for all Town buildings, effective Monday, August 23, 2021.

  • All Town buildings will be CLOSED to the public – all services will be provided remotely, online, curbside, etc. Any in-person programming or services should be done outdoors (masks suggested, social distancing required).  Department phone numbers can be found at https://www.newingtonct.gov/Directory.aspx
  • Covid-19 Screenings: In the event someone from the public has to enter any town facility, they will be asked COVID screening questions before they are permitted to enter the facility.
  • Masks Required for all, regardless of vaccination status.

As of August 23, 2021, the Town of Newington will move to "Phase I/Red".
