SEPTEMBER BOARD OF ASSESSMENT APPEALS

The Newington Board of Assessment Appeals will be holding their regular September meeting on Saturday, September 26, 2020 from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon for the express purpose of hearing appeals of any taxpayer aggrieved by the actions of the Assessor in the determination of MOTOR VEHICLE ASSESSMENTS ONLY on the October 1, 2019 Grand List. The meeting will occur at the Newington Town Hall, 200 Garfield Street, Newington, Connecticut. 

In order to meet with the Board, an application MUST be filed with the Town Assessor’s office no later than September 16, 2020. Pursuant to Connecticut General Statutes, failure to file this application will legally prohibit the Board from hearing any appeal.

Once all applications have been received, the Board will mail out appointment notices to all taxpayers advising them of the time of their meeting.
