Teen Lazy Lounge
Tuesday, November 7, 3:00 – 5:00 p.m.
For grades 6 –12. Teen lounge is a little bit of everything, games, drawing, and hanging out with friends. At November’s lounge we will be watching a movie (to be voted on). This is a drop-in program.

Local Authors Get Together - So You Wrote a Book... Now what?
Tuesday, November 14, 6:30 -8:30 p.m.
Come talk with Matthew Dicks and other local authors about marketing and publishing your book. Light refreshments served. In honor of Nanorimo please bring something that you are working on to share.  Registration Required.  Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.                      

Teen Volunteer Meeting
Wednesday, November 15, 1:15 – 2:15 p.m.
For ages 13-18. Calling all our teen volunteers! Join us for pizza and cake so we can thank you for all the hours of help you gave us this summer. We’ll also let you know about future volunteer opportunities. Also, earn a community service hour for sharing your opinion! Give input on teen events and help develop the collection of teen materials during this meeting.

Teen Cookie Decorating
Thursday, November 16, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
For grades 6 -12. Learn how to decorate cookies with royal icing. Use your imagination to create one of-a-kind cookies with techniques you’ll learn from Colleen Bell. Registration required.

For grades 9-12. Discover great books! We will be discussing 2018 Nutmeg Nominee Girl in the Blue Coat by Monica Hesse. This is a collaboration between the NHS Library and the LRW Library. All NHS students are welcome!
