Calling all children from birth through 6th grade who live in Newington! Come to the Children’s Department anytime between September 1 – 29 to sign up for a library card and receive a free goody bag (new registrants only).

Curl up and watch Show Dogs in the comfort of the Program Room.  Max, a macho, solitary Rottweiler police dog is ordered to go undercover as a primped show dog in a prestigious Dog Show, along with his human partner, to avert a disaster from
happening. The movie is rated PG and runs 92 minutes.
Snacks will be available.

Pajama Music
Mondays, September 10, 17, 24 and October 1, 6:00 p.m.

Children ages 2-4 and a caregiver are invited to experience music together.  We will sing, explore instruments and rhythm patterns, and listen to great music that will get you moving and dancing.  Finally, we will wind down with a bedtime story.  Come join the fun!

The Amazing Code Coaches from the Coder School in Farmington will be here to give a class in learning the foundations of coding with Scratch.  Students may bring their own Chromebook or use one here.  Beginning September 1, students ages 7 – 12 may call to register.
