How can I become a notary public?
The Notary Public Manual and the Application For Appointment As Notary Public can be accessed on the notary public services page, or copies are available from the Town Clerk’s Office. Upon completion of the paperwork, the application is forwarded to the Secretary of the State along with a non-refundable $120 fee. Appointments are for a 5-year term.
