1. What is required to do blasting?

Blasting permits are issued by the Fire Marshal and have to be renewed every 30 days. Please call the office with any comments of blasting concerns. For more information, please call 860-667-5910.

3. Can I burn leaves or brush?

Open burning of brush on residential properties is prohibited by Town Ordinance Section 7 to 2. For more information, please call 860-667-5910.

4. Do I need a permit to remove an underground fuel tank?

Underground fuel storage tank removals do not require a permit. As a courtesy, an inspector will witness the removal and document the tank and soil conditions. Reports of many removals are on file in our office and are available for public viewing. For more information, please call 860-667-5910.
