The Police Department can fingerprint Town residents as well as people who work in Town. This service is available by appointment only on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Appointments can be made online BY APPLICANTS ONLY.
The Records Division cannot schedule fingerprint appointments for you. It is now being done by an outside vendor called Permitium. Please see instructions below.
You will be asked to submit payment for fingerprinting services when scheduling an appointment. To schedule a fingerprinting appointment, please follow these Instructions:

3. Fill out the form
4. Click on "Fingerprint" under Select Purchase Option towards the bottom of the screen
5. Once you have completed the form, click on "Schedule an Appointment" at the bottom of the screen

UPDATED POLICE REPORTS REQUEST PROCEDURE:
Due to COVID-19 concerns, anyone that requires reports from the NPD Records Department may request the reports using our record request form and provide the required information in the form. There will be no in-person requests for reports. Call 860-665-7331 with any questions.

Vendor permits can be obtained from the Records Department Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. There is a $100 fee for the permit.
Tag sale permits can be obtained from the Records Department Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. There is no fee for this permit. Tag sale forms are also available online.
