Adult Winter Reading Kickoff & Registration

Adult Winter Reading: Yeti...Set... READ! The Adult Winter Reading program will kick off Wednesday, February 4. You can join the fun by registering at the library, online, or by calling us and we will do it for you. Read and submit your tickets for the weekly drawings. All tickets collected during the 5-week program will be entered into the finale drawing to be held Friday, March 13 at noon. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

DMV Community Outreach Event

The outreach team from the Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles (CT DMV) will be on site at the Lucy Robbins Library to perform limited paid services on a walk-in basis. Services include license renewal, Non-driver IDs, accessibility permits, and more. Registration required. Services provided will also include Vehicle Registration: Renewal ONLY; Fines, Tickets & Suspensions: Resolution & payments ONLY; Learner's Permits: Duplicates ONLY; and Driver history reports.

Children’s Winter Reading 2026: Yeti…Set...READ @ the Library!

Join the Children’s Winter Reading Program! Beginning on Monday, February 2, registration will be available online. A Winter Reading Log will be posted on the library’s website. Once registered, you may print the log from home or come in to pick up a copy. When the log is completed, please visit the Children’s department to claim your reward. This reading program is for all children up to 5th grade. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
