Friends of the Library Book Sales & Donations
The Friends of the Library Book Sales are offered throughout the year. Thousands of hardcover, softcover, paperback books, teen books and children’s books will be on sale, along with a selection of CDs, videos, audio-books and DVDs, as well as other special priced items.

Support the Library Through the Friends
Support the library through the Friends of the Library by attending book sales and other fundraising events, by becoming a Friend of the Library through annual membership, by shopping at Friends Corner and ongoing book sale and by making monetary and book donations.

Join the Friends
Becoming a Friend of the Library is another way to support the library. Money collected through membership is used to fund library programming and supplement the library's collection. Membership also includes annual benefits and a subscription the library newsletter.

Friends of the Lucy Robbins Welles Library Student Scholarship
The Friends of the LRW Library Scholarship is aimed at students passionate about library volunteering and community service. The Friends of the LRW Library will award two $500 scholarships to be used for further education.

Library's Dining Partner Program
Local dining establishments have an opportunity to support the library and receive year-round recognition by participating in the Library's Dining Partner Program. Dining Partner Tickets are distributed to current members of the Lucy Robbins Welles Library and upon request.. This is a win-win opportunity to showcase participating restaurants in the Dining Partner Ticket and help the Library offset expenses for its ambitious year-round programming schedule. Co-sponsored by the Friends of the Lucy Robbins Welles Library and the Library Board of Trustees.

Anita Wilson Memorial Family Concert Series
The Friends of the Library Advisory Board has established a Memorial Family Concert Series to honor long time library volunteer, Anita Wilson. who passed away in 2019. Anita's passion for libraries, music and children was evident in everything she did and the Memorial Family Concert Series allows the Friends and the Library to remember her giving spirit and share her love of music to the community.
