Employee Benefits
Our team manages a variety of employee benefit programs and are available to assist Town employees, retirees, and eligible dependents through the coordination and administration of a full range of employee benefit programs. We provide management of the following employee benefit programs:
- Health care plans (HDHP/HSA)
- Prescription drug plan
- Vision plan
- Dental plans
- Life insurance plans
- Long-term disability
- Flexible spending account
- 457, 401 and Roth IRA (MissionSquare/ICMA)
Annually, we facilitate and coordinate the Open Enrollment program briefings to educate employees, retirees, and their eligible dependents on the benefit programs’ offerings.

TRANSPARENCY IN COVERAGE FINAL RULE COMPLIANCE

The Town of Newington Health Plan (the Plan) is required to provide certain information on a public website pursuant to the Transparency in Coverage Final Rule (Rule).
The Rule is intended to make health care pricing information available to the general public, particularly researchers. These experts can use pricing information from this Plan and other plans to better understand the health care system and its costs and, hopefully, create new policies that improve competition and lower health care spending.
The Rule requires that the Plan post links to machine-readable files that contain information about the price of health care services. A machine-readable file is written in computer code and is an extremely large file. It is not intended to be downloaded or read by participants but to be used in research studies. The files do not contain Protected Health Information (PHI) about you or your family.
SURPRISE BILLING MODEL NOTICE
This notice explains member protections from unexpected medical bills that can occur when receiving care from an out-of-network provider at an in-network facility. You may note that all states that require the posting are listed in the notice, even if there are no employees that reside in that state. This is to ensure compliance in regard to any changes in population that may occur.
