Effective Tuesday, November 1st, the Newington Police Department will enforce the overnight parking ban throughout Newington. The ordinance prohibits parking for more than thirty minutes between the hours of 2:00 A.M. and 6:00 A.M. on any street. This parking ban ensures proper sanding and plowing operations and helps prevent accidents on snowy or icy roads.
