We all want to drive as long as we can but  when that isn't an option, we want you to know what is available.  In addition to Dial-A-Ride, CT Transit and Paratransit, taxi’s, your friends and families—rideshare is quickly becoming an option for many people. Join us for a information session to learn how rideshare works and how you can use it—for yourself or your family!  You will leave with all of your questions answered and your first ride will be on us!  Please register in the Senior & Disabled Center Office or call 860-665-8778.

The Newington Senior and Disabled Center was selected as 1 of 3 sites in the nation to work in partnership with the National Council on Aging and Lyft to introduce Lyft to older adults through a senior center.  With some financial and technical support, our goal is to reach as many people as we can with information, education and support about ridesharing!
