The Newington Board of Assessment Appeals will be holding their regular September meeting on Saturday, September 18, 2021 from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon for the express purpose of listening to the appeals of any taxpayer aggrieved by the actions of the Assessor in the determination of MOTOR VEHICLE ASSESSMENTS ONLY on the 2020 Grand List.
Due to the continuation of the Covid-19 pandemic and to ensure the protection of all Newington citizens, this meeting will be conducted remotely via the internet and or telephone.
In order to meet with the Board, an application MUST be filed with the Town Assessor’s office no later than September 10, 2021. Pursuant to Connecticut General Statutes, failure to file this application will legally prohibit the Board from hearing any appeal.

Once all applications have been received, the Board will mail out appointment notices to all taxpayers advising them of the date, time and details of their meeting.
