[ARCHIVED] Recycling Update

Reduce Reuse Recycle recycling sign

Black plastic take out containers as well as flower pots are no longer acceptable in the recycling container.  These items are unable to be recognized by the sorting devices at the receiving facilities and could ultimately contaminate clean bales of recycling such as paper and cardboard.  Due to the potential for contamination these items must now be put in the trash.  For a more in depth article go to "No recycle bin for takeuot containers"
