Join AARP CT and the Town of Newington Parks & Recreation Department at the FitLot, an AARP sponsored outdoor fitness park in Clem Lemire Park. AARP teamed up with FitLot to celebrate its 60th anniversary by sponsoring the donation and activation of one Outdoor Fitness Park in all 50 states and three U.S. territories, and we want to introduce you to it! 

Celebrate and learn on September 10th (rain or shine) from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM with: 

• Assorted Boxed Lunches (available at 11AM) for those who sign up and check-in (first come/first served);

• A DJ to add to the fun; 

• A Certified Trainer to showcase how to use the equipment thanks to the Town of Newington Parks and Recreation Department; and 

• An opportunity to meet local AARP volunteers and learn about free resources.
