[ARCHIVED] Spring Cleaning

Spring cleaning street sign

As spring has arrived we would like to remind residents leaves and/or grass are not allowed in the trash or recycling containers.  If these materials are found in the containers, the containers will not be emptied. We also ask that residents do not rake or pile leaves and sticks at the curb as they will not be picked up by the town.  These items may be brought to the Town Transfer Station (2045 Main St), permit or proof of residency required to dispose of vegetation, leaves or grass.  Transfer Station hours are Saturdays and Sundays  9 a.m. to 5 p.m.. Permits may be obtained at the Highway Garage (281 Milk Lane) or the Town Clerk's office (Town Hall).  Residents must provide proof of residency and vehicle registration when obtaining a permit.
