[ARCHIVED] Wellness Wednesday Presentation: Drumming for Wellness

Picture of people in a drum circle

Carla Pomprowicz will give a brief history of djembe, its purpose in the Afican culture today, and then lead us into a rhythmic experience that we will remember for a long time! Research indicates that drumming accelerates physical healing, boosts the immune system and produces feelings of well-being. In a very short time you will be playing rhythmically and experiencing a feeling of true connectedness with the entire group. Drumming is great fun, energizing and relaxing at the same time.

Carla will bring 20 drums. Bring your drum if you have one!

Please RSVP as soon as possible as spots are beginning to fill. When you RSVP please indicate if you want to drum or observe & listen to the beat. Please also leave contact info so that we can confirm with you if we still have an opening!
