Tax Bill Reminder

TOWN OF NEWINGTON
TAX OFFICE

This is a reminder:  No tax bill will be sent for the second installment on Real Estate and Personal Property.  The bill was included with the July tax bill along with an envelope for the January installment. Payments may be made prior to the January 1st due date and the last day to pay is February 1st without penalty.


Taxes may be viewed online anytime under Balance Due, and the Supplemental Motor Vehicle tax bills will be available online for viewing and payment on December 17th at www.newingtonct.gov Revenue/Tax Dept. Convenience fees apply and vary by payment method.  No Debit or Credit Cards can be processed in the Tax Office or by telephone. The Supplemental Motor Vehicle bills will be mailed at the end of December for cars registered October 2, 2017 through September 2018.


Any questions regarding your car’s value or change to make on your tax bill can only be made by the Assessor at (860) 665-8530.  Address changes and payment information can be made with the Tax Office at (860) 665-8540.
