About the Gym

The Parks and Recreation Department offers rentals of the Mortensen Community Center gymnasium throughout the fall, winter and spring seasons. Rental availability is limited due to programming demands.  Reservations must be made a minimum of one week in advance, but for best availability we recommend as much notice as possible.

The Mortensen Community Center is located inside the Newington Town Hall and many Parks and Recreation programs are held here. Facility includes a full size gymnasium, arts and crafts room, and multi-purpose rooms
