The Town carries two credit ratings:
- Moody’s Investors Service is Aa2 - The Town's credit rating was upgraded in 2010 by Moody's Investor Services during a global recalibration of ratings.
- Standard and Poor’s which is AA+ - The Town's credit rating was last upgraded in 2014 by Standard and Poor's Ratings Services based on the implementation of its local General Obligation criteria.
The ratings are reviewed yearly in February.
