Voting will begin on May 1st and votes will be tallied on May 30, 2025. The first, second and third place dogs will be issued license
numbers 1, 2 and 3.
Dog licenses are issued beginning on the first business day of June. To obtain a license, send a spaying/neutering certificate to the Town Clerk’s office. The fee is $8 for spayed/neutered dogs, and $19 for non-spayed/neutering dogs. Rabies vaccination information must be current for the licensing period, beginning July 1, 2025. Rabies vaccination certificates will be returned to the owner with the new licensing tags.
Licenses may also be obtained in person at the clerk’s office. Licenses issued after June 30th are assessed a penalty of $1 per month. Call 860-665-8545 with any questions.
